Genuine VAG Radiator Upper Coolant Coupling EA888.3 - 1K0122291BE

This coolant coupling piece goes onto the upper, right hand side of the radiator. Due to one of the smaller connections that come off the top of the coupling piece, its quite easy to snap or damage this part when working on your vehicle. 

Number 2 on the diagram above.

This part number 1K0122291BE is ONLY suitable for models that came from the factory as manual, with either the IS20 or IS38 Turbo. Or, Models that came from the factory as DSG with the IS20 turbo. This is because these models do not have the 2nd auxillary cooler on the N/S of the vehicle like some other models do. This coolant coupling has 3 outlets as opposed to the other version, part number 5Q0122291BL which has 4 outlets (this can be found in the link below)
