Genuine VAG Radiator Upper Coolant Coupling - EA888.3 - 5Q0122291BL

This coolant coupling piece goes onto the upper, right hand side of the radiator. Due to one of the smaller connections that come off the top of the coupling piece, its quite easy to snap or damage this part when working on your vehicle.

This part number 5Q0122291BL is ONLY suitable for models that came from the factory as DSG, with an IS38 Turbo. This is because these models have x2 auxillary coolers fitted, one on either side of the main central radiator. This coolant coupling piece has 4 outlets to suit these models with the requirement for the outlet to go to the 2nd auxillary cooler on the N/S of the vehicle. 

All Manual models with IS38 turbos, and DSG models with the IS20 turbo fitted only have 3 outlets, as they only have x1 auxillary cooler on the O/S of the vehicle. Therefore these models require part number 1K0122291BE instead (This can be found in the link below)
