AKS Twist On Oil Funnel Filler Neck - Fits Various Models - AKSTWIST

If you own, or have ever topped up the oil on a VW/Audi group EA888.3 engine, you will know from experience how easy it is to spill oil and make a complete mess of what should be a simple task.

The dilemma

There isn't an ideal angle to get a bottle of oil in the engine bay and lined up with the filler hole, be it a 5 litre or a 1 litre bottle. The hole for the engine oil filler is so small, and sits flush with the top of the plastic cam cover instead of being raised up with a filler neck, like some other VAG models.

Because there is no filler neck, you can use a regular funnel but it can be hard to keep secure. If you do decide to go in with no funnel then its down to luck how events will unfold.

The solution

Using the thread that secures the oil filler cap, we have created a screw in funnel that you can quickly secure into place for topping the car up with oil or carrying out a full service. Then when your done filling the oil up, unscrew it, wipe clean and its good to go for next time you need it. Leave it in your car, with your tools etc.

The funnels are made on site here at AKS from a carbon fibre reinforced nylon which has a very high chemical resistance.

Should fit any vehicle that has the 06K103485D oil filler cap.  If you are not sure then please contact us with your vehicle reg or chassis number.
