Orders & Delivery
Q - I have received my order, but something appears to be missing?
A - When we package orders, we often will package smaller items inside boxes or packaging for larger items. A great example of this, if you order a clutch kit from us that includes a slave cylinder, the bolts for the clutch kit / flywheel etc will always be packaged inside the slave cylinder box! When you receive any order from us, please open every item fully to make sure the complete order is there. Once you have done that and if something is then still not present, please contact us of course!
Q - Why does a pop up banner appear when i go to checkout, highlighting that on orders over £100, i cannot select a different delivery address other than my card billing address?
A - Whilst we understand the reasons you may wish to have your items delivered to an alternate address. Unfortunately due to the nature of our business we are a high target for fraudulent activity, therefore within our Terms & Conditions specify that any orders over £100 must only be delivered to the card used billing address.

Q- What spark plugs should i use in my EA113 TFSI vehicle?
A- In the UK and countries with similar climates, for stock cars right the way up to over 500bhp plus we recommend to use the NGK BKR7EIX plug - Here
For cars running serious power, or operating in hotter climates use the NGK BKR8EIX plug instead, or where your tuner requests it - Here
Q - I am replacing my PCV valve, do i need to buy the gasket and should i buy the genuine VAG or Elring gasket?
A - If the PCV valve gasket is undamaged, not perished / cracked etc then you can reuse them. If you need to replace the gasket, both the genuine VAG & Elring part work and fit in the exact same way, we offer both to give you the choice to fit with your preferences, ie using genuine parts over non gen.
Q - I have a factory K03 turbo car that has been K04 turbo converted, I now need to replace the thermostat. Do i need to use the K03 or K04 factory thermostat?
A- If your vehicle was a K03 model from factory, such as AXX or BWA engine codes, then you still use the original K03 thermostat - 06F121111F
If your vehicle is a K04 turbo model from the factory, such as BHZ, BYD, CDL engine codes then you need the original K04 thermostat - 06F121111H
Q - How often should I be changing my cam follower, i have heard i should be changing it every time i service my car?
A - Cam follower wear can vary massively car to car, depending on lots of variable factors, such as condition of the intake camshaft end lobe, HPFP condition, maintenance up keep and so on. Some cars will wear and get through cam followers much quicker than others, which makes it hard to offer advice to suit all. However as a general rule of thumb we advise to check the follower...
- On standard / unmodified / un-mapped vehicles every 10,000 miles at the yearly service.
- On vehicles that are remapped, modified and producing more power than stock every 5000 miles.
- On vehicles that are used on track - after each track day / event - Hard use can cause more rapid wear!
Its a simple task to remove the HPFP and check the follower, and can be worth taking the time to keep an eye on the part and the wear that it racks up in the time since you last checked it. It can help you to understand what's normal for your particular TFSI engine. There are plenty of images online of the various stages of cam follower wear to compare yours against. A - There is not a one size fits all answer to this like with the earlier TFSI platform. However our general advice is...
- Stock / stage 1 cars - Genuine VAG OE spark plugs - 06K905601B
- Stage 2 cars, used daily / higher mileage / more often used as a normal car not using the power frequently - Genuine VAG OE spark plugs - 06K905601B
- Stage 2 cars, less frequent but more hard use, fast road / fun car / track car, etc - NGK Racing spark plug R7438-8 (10,000 mile service interval)
- Stage 3 cars - NGK Racing spark plug R7438-9 (10,000 mile service interval)
When requiring NGK race plugs, it can be worth checking what is already used in the car / what it was mapped with / what the mapper recommends for you / your build first.
