Genuine VAG TFSi EA113 Main Thermostat For Transverse Engines - 06F121111H / 06F121111F

It is a common issue on the EA113 TFSI platform for the thermostats to fail causing them to run cold/hot and to not sit in the middle of the temperature gauge. 9 out of 10 times this is due to the thermostat not operating as it should be. This can cause the car to run rich or lean which over time can damage the engine.

Please Note

- The part number printed in the plastic of the thermostat housing will always show as 06F121111F on all thermostats, no matter which part number you order. The K04 thermostat typically has a small silver sticker placed over the part number printed on the housing, with the correct part number ending H on the sticker. This we believe is because the housing / casing mould is exactly the same for the two thermostats, so it would be illogical for the VAG group to make two different plastic moulds for a product that fitment wise is exactly the same, hence all housings having the F part number on. Its the thermostat inside the housing that varies depending if you get a K03 or K04 thermostat. 

- This part number only fits on vehicles where the engine is mounted transversely, as opposed to inline! If you have an inline / Longitudinal TFSI engine you need - 06D121111G

- If you have a K03 car that has been K04 swapped, you still use the K03 thermostat!
