This is an ideal upgrade for any EA113 2.0 TFSI VAG platform DSG vehicle including MK5 Golf, MK6 Golf, S3 8P, MK2 Leon, MK2 Octavia etc. These clutch packs are stronger than previous revisions (found in the TFSi platforms) or a direct replacement for MQB platforms such as the MK7 Golf R, S3 8V, MK3 Leon, MK3 Octavia etc.
The clutch for the DSG transmissions have been known to cause slipping over time as the internal plates wear down. Another cause of failing clutch packs include jerkiness when setting off and aggressive gear changes.
