At the heart of most Pipercross intake kits lies one of our conical air filters, each one engineered to specific design requirements based on flow volume and air speed suitable for each application.

CONICAL AIR FILTER
The PK380-5 filter features in many Pipercross Intake Kit's due to it's high flow, un-restrictiving design. The filter features Pipercross’ tried and proven air filter construction methods in order to achieve the targeted airflow performance, while maintaining the headroom required to support higher output applications. The bespoke Pipercross foam filtration media blend strikes the perfect balance between increased flow and air filtration, while the large radius spinning, made to optimise airflow, draws from decades of successful in-house Pipercross filter manufacturing. The utilisation of a conical filter increases filtration surface area by 10.14% over a typical panel filter, featuring a 180mm O.D and a 90mm diameter spun aluminium outlet. This filter serves as the foundation for the performance increase offered by many Pipercross intake kits.
