This kit comprises of x8 fittings in total that allow anyone with an 8V1/2 platform RS3, to upgrade to the 8Y RS3 floor mats / Fit a purchased set of 8Y floor mats into your 8V.
The 8Y RS3 at launch got a load of lovely factory accessory mats in different colourways, red, blue & green. The front floor mats from an 8Y fit lovely in an 8V1/2 RS3, but the rear floor mats wont fit as they have no holes for the securing pegs. Thats where this kit comes in, you can modify the 8Y rear floor mats by cutting them and fitting the carpet mat fittings supplied in this kit*
*If you are doing this at home, Please Note...
- Try the rear 8Y mats in place first to ensure you mark correctly where to cut them
- As above, you will need to cut the 8Y RS3 rear floor mats. Make these cuts carefully, slowly and measure everything more than once. AKS Tuning cannot and will not under any circumstances accept any returns on floor mats that we have supplied that have been altered, cut or modified incorrectly - Plus you cant get the rear mats seperately at this time, you would have to purchase a whole new set! Measure more than once, cut when your confident!
