AKS Tuning Billet Coolant Distributor / Y-Piece For EA113 TFSI - AKSBYP

The stock coolant distributor / Y-Piece on EA113 TFSI engines is prone to cracking after many heat cycles of the engine, when they crack a coolant leak will appear. Being made of plastic, the stock part (1K0121087H) is relatively inexpensive, but overtime suffers the same issue as the original part you replace it with, rather than being a permant fix. Its a common culprit for coolant loss on these engines.

Thats where we come in, with our own billet Y-Piece, designed as a true fit and forget upgrade to the OEM part. Plus who doesnt love an upgrade from plastic to billet alloy!

We are aware of metal upgrade options allready on the market, but none produced in the style of the original part, using Computer Aided Design (CAD) to develop and then manafacture the part from a single block of aluminium, as opposed to cutting and welding seperate pieces together. There is nothing wrong with that method of production we should add, it works well. But aestheitcally it could be improved upon. With the lengths that we go to on TFSI platform cars if we can improve something in any way shape or form, we will always take a crack at it to bring a product like this to production!
