Genuine VW MK7 Golf Mirror Glass Options
A frustrating issue on any car, but one that seems more and more common on the MK7 Golf is the mirror glass falling off, usually because the glue between the mirror and the plastic backing / securing section fails and causes the mirror glass to fall off and smash. If you get lucky and the mirror glass falls of when parked, and doesnt smash then a temprary repair can be to re-adhere the mirror to the backing plate. But in most cases if the mirror glass falls off when driving, even if you could safely retrieve it, it will have smashed.
In the UK, a missing / damaged to the point of obstructing your view, drivers side mirror is an instant MOT fail. A passenger side mirror missing or damaged would be an MOT advisory, whilst technically you can drive without one its highly advisable not too.
You can choose from the dropdowns in this listing to go for a N/S / passenger, O/S / drivers side or both mirror glasses.
Installation is straight forward, using the electric mirrors adjust the mirror glass to be facing in towards the vehicle, then using a trim tool pop the old mirror backing out, disconnect the wires for the heated mirrors. Install is the reverse, the mirror will click firmly into place when secure but does take a bit of pressure. Wear disposable gloves or use a microfibre cloth to avoid fingerprints on the glass.

- These products are only for UK Based, RHD MK7 models. If your MK7 is LHD, or based in any country other than the UK these will not be the correct part numbers, but feel free to contact us and we should be able to provide them for you, if you can provide us with the vehicles chassis number.
- There may be some variations to these part numbers within the UK, if you are at all unsure, or if you know your vehicle had specific factory options relating to the mirros / packages, please contact us before purchasing, with your reg / chassis number of the vehicle and we can double check before ordering.

Returns Policy
Before returning any goods please read all our terms and conditions. AKS Tuning must be informed in writing of any items that you wish to return for credit or exchange within 7 working days commencing the day of delivery. Returns will not be accepted under any circumstance 28 days after delivery.
Please note there is a £1.20 refund fee and we can not reimburse any postage costs.
