AKS Number Plate Holders for Audi Honeycomb Front Grilles - Push Fit System - AKSNPH

A simple solution for securing your front number plate in a way that makes it easy to take on and of, for car shows, photo shoots or trips to Mexico. Designed specifically to suit Audi honeycomb grills. 3D Printed on site here at AKS tuning from a tough, durable, but flexible plastic material.

These may not fit all honeycomb grills, as obviously will be dependant on the size of the gaps in the honeycomb, if you are in doubt the measurements are shown in the 4th image on this listing, you will need to ensure that the overall height does not come into contact with anything behind the grille first. You can easily measure this on your car using a tape measure before purchasing. Also, be careful not to block any air intake guides / channels etc with the plate.

How to install?

- Thoroughly clean the back of the number plate with the supplied alcohol pad, or similar solvent / tar and glue / alcohol based cleaner, to remove any dirt, resuidue etc.
- Gently push the bracket into the grille in the position you want the plate to sit. check both sides are level and ensure clean fitment / not contacting on anything behind the grille.
- Remove the peelable backing from the sticky pads.
- Line the plate up and push the plate onto the sticky pads.  You only have one chance to get it right so take your time on this step.

How to remove?

- They can be quite tricky to remove, but that means the plate wont fly out while driving!
- Get your fingers behind the plate onto the clips and you will just about be able to squeeze the clip together, this will ease the clip from the grille.  Some up    and down movement of the plate will help wriggle them out.
