AKS Steel Filter Basket & Cap Kit For EA888.3 TSI Fuel Injectors - EA888BASKETKIT

Till now, when cleaning and testing 2.0 EA888.3 TSI injectors if the basket was broken or blocked up, there was no way to change or replace these parts. This is because the filter baskets are hidden away behind a cap on the top of the injector  that you cannot remove in any way that you could re-use it (See circled area in 2nd picture). With no replacement parts available if you do remove it, you render an injector unusable and require an entire replacement part, even if the injector previously could have been saved...

As always, whenever there is a problem like this at AKS we like to come up with a solution, and this is it. Our filter basket and cap kit. This allows you to change the filter basket, and install a new cap into your injector, rather than purchase a whole new genuine injector.

- We highly reccomend that only a trained proffesional installs these parts, AKS cannot accept any liability of incorrect fitment / damage to an injector down to incorrect fitment, under any circumstance.

- This kit is sold as a set of x4 caps, and x4 filter baskets.

- When testing EA888.3 injectors on site at AKS, this kit is an optional extra and not included in the price of the injector testing.

- This kit is only for EA888.3 Pre GPF models!!! Not suitable for GPF injectors.
