Genuine VAG TFSi Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Adjuster - 06F109088J

Over the years of working on VAG vehicles, an unexpected issue that we have come across when replacing the Cam chain and tensioner on EA113 engines is damage on the VVT unit on the EA113 engine. This issue is primarily on the earlier TFSi engines which used metal cam shaft adjuster rings. Please see the 3rd image in this listing which highlights the wear on the VVT unit.

This is just the valve itself, the part was previously available as part of a repair kit, part no 06F198088D. However this was discontinued in June 2023. So now must be bought seperately. (We have x1 of 06F198088D left in stock as of 16/04/24)

06D109281D is the bolt (number 7 on the diagram) which secures the adjuster in place. This does not come with the adjuster, but can be bought seperately on our site.
