Our braided clutch line is for use on many VAG applications. This line can help reduce "sponge" in the pedal caused by the OEM line expanding. A highly recommended addition to a performance clutch set up due to the slightly heavier pedal. The line removes the factory fitted vibration diaphragm. Removal of this allows fluid to travel directly to the slave cylinder and removes the spongey feel on the first part of the pedal stroke.
We recommend fitting our braided clutch line with a billet bleed block (can be purchased using the drop down above) which eliminates the internal restrictor found in the original plastic bleed block, creating faster, firmer clutch engagement and disengagement.
There are 2 choices of braided lines;
- The 2.0TFSi/TSi and 2.5TFSi use a straight fitting one end and 90 degree on the other.
- The earlier 1.8T engines use a straight fitting on both ends.
The clutch line pictured is the 2.0 TFSi/TSi and 2.5 TFSi version.
