This is a larger DSG gearbox oil cooler compared to OEM part numbers 02E409061 'B' or 'D', This is the equivalent to the OEM 'C' part number which contains more rows internally and is physically a larger capacity part allowing for more cooling
The oil cooler is to help ensure the gearbox oil stays at its optimum operating temperature and does not overheat, overheating gearbox oil can lead to clutch packs slipping and shorten the effective life span of the oil inside the gearbox.
This listing does not include the x2 O-rings, part number WHT008226, or the x3 securing bolt, part number N90986102. Both of these parts can also be purchased seperately on our website if required, please see the links to the parts at the bottom of this listing!
