Allows For Clean Installation of an External Oil Cooler
The iABED Industries Gen 1 TSi Oil Cooler kit is designed to aid with the notorious oil cooling issues that plague the EA888 line of engines. The OEM heat exchange is inadequate in maintaining oil temperatures below 240*F (115 *C). Common consensus is tracking vehicles in extreme heat causes oil temperatures to rise above 275*F causing the driver to back off for fear of causing permanent damage. iABED's basic solution allows the user to remove the OEM heat exchanger and run an adapter plate to allow the use of external air cooled oil control products.
