A wheel alignment is vital to gain the best handling characteristics, and to stop irregular tread wear on your vehicle. Wheel alignment issues can be caused by a number of issues such as hitting a kerb, or even a pot hole. Premature wear on the inside or outside shoulder is usually the first sign of your tracking being out on your vehicle.
The Hunter four-wheel alignment machine is renowned for its accuracy. This allows us to adjust Camber, Caster, Thrust Line, Toe in and Toe out. Here at AKS, we have tested various alignment set-ups across the VAG range, and can tailor the alignment to your needs whether it be a road car or a track car.
It is becoming increasingly common for the rear toe bolts to seize up on the older VAG range. A lot of places would ignore this and try and align the vehicle anyway meaning the results won't be perfect. We keep new genuine toe bolts, washers & nuts in stock and after inspection, we can change these prior to the alignment if required.
